Position: General Manager
Børsmose Camping is seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure excellent guest feedback while delivering on its financial goals. The General Manager will be responsible for setting strategic direction, leading a dynamic team, and driving business growth.

Børsmose is a campsite located in a beautiful nature area on the west coast of Denmark. We are on a mission to bring families back into the nature for relaxing, social and meaningful vacation experiences. Surrounded by the beach, dunes, the ocean, and forest our surroundings offer a unique and largely untapped potential for escaping the hectic everyday life. Your job and challenge will be to realize this potential by setting and executing on a direction that will make this vision come alive.
About the position:
Overall responsible and heading up the leadership duo. Together with our Front-office manager you will be the leadership team.
- Overall budget and P&L responsibility, including implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency and increase revenue.
- Develop and implement the strategic direction and initiatives that will allow us to deliver on overall ambition of bringing more people into nature while securing a solid growth journey.
- Oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations, ensuring best in glass guest satisfaction ratings across all areas from customer service, building maintenance, housekeeping, and our bakery.
- Oversee maintenance of buildings and ensuring excellent housekeeping to achieve best in class customer feedback.
- Foster a positive workplace culture that leads and motivates staff to achieve performance targets.
- Set clear goals and performance metrics for team members and ensure staff development through on-going training.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a managerial role, preferably as a General Manager or comparable leadership position.
- 10+ years experience from retail, service management, hotel, campsite, hospitality or related fields, with a proven track-record of strong execution.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Solid financial and budgeting acumen with experience in P&L management.
- Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a strong focus on service excellence.
- You are positive and generally look at the brighter side of life.
- You have an outgoing personality and enjoy socializing and engaging in a personal and informative dialogue
- You are devoted to your job, the guests, and your co-workers.
Practicalities:
- Standard contractual terms apply but do expect extra workload during the busy time in summer and extended vacation period during winter.
